UPSC Civil Services Exam 2018 Opted Language: 485 candidates who are selected as Civil Servant out of the total 812, opted exam in Hindi Medium and rest their regional language and English government replied on Monday.
UPSC Civil Services Exam 2018 out of total recommended candidates 812, out of which 485 candidates belong to Hindi Medium which means more than 50% selection has been from the Hindi medium. Rest candidates choose English and their regional language as a medium. So here, according to this data, we can say that fewer candidate belongs to English Medium.
In UPSC Civil Services Exam 2017 a total of 1,056 candidates listed in the final recommended list out of which 633 opted Hindi as their medium for mains written examination. And rest candidates belong to English and their regional language. Now here as per data more than 50% candidate selected candidates opted Hindi as their medium of written examination.
Now if we talk about the year 2016, UPSC recommended 1,209 candidates out of which 664 had chosen Hindi as their medium. In the year 2015, 643 out of total 1,164 candidates, opted Hindi as their medium. And in 2014 out of 1,363 recommended candidates, 743 opted Hindi as their medium of language.
According to the whole data provided, we can say that more than 50% of recommended candidates opted Hindi as their medium of written examination.
