UPSC Civil Services Prelims Exam 2020 Deferred due to Coronavirus

According to Union Minister Jitendra Singh UPSC Civil Services Mains Interview 2019, Prelims Examination 2020 deferred.

UPSC Civil Services Prelims Examination 2020 deferred: Amid lockdown no any transport service is active. Major cities that are UPSC centers for Civil Services Examinations are declared as hotspots. UPSC earlier published a notice on 15th April 2020 declaring that it will decide the prelims exam date after lockdown. Now Union Minister Jitendra Singh said that the exam will be deferred.

In a statement he said that “UPSC has also deferred the interview which were going on the final Civil Services IAS Aspirants then we’ve also deferred the Preliminary Exam…” Now, this is not declared officially but can be consider as the exam will be postponed. These are words of Union minister and likely to be final for the examination. Candidates have to wait for final confirmation at the official website of the commission or visit iasrank.com.
