Union Public Service Commission(UPSC) has released the notification for Civil Services IAS Exam 2021. According to the notification, this year, 2021, the commission will conduct the exam for 712 vacancies on the scheduled date i.e. 27th June 2021.

According to the calendar of UPSC 2021, notification for the UPSC Indian Administrative Exam(IAS) was scheduled on 10th february but that was delayed. Candidates can now make online application from IAS Aspirants can make an online application form from 10th February 2021 to 9 March 2021.
The Civil Services IAS Exam is scheduled to be held on 27th June 2021. Last year’s prelims exam was scheduled for 31st May, but due to COVID 19, it was held on 4th October 2021. And the EPFO exam scheduled on 4th October is scheduled to be held on 9th May 2021; know more about the EPFO 2021.
UPSC will recommend IAS, IFS, IPS, and other A-grade posts through this recruitment.
Eligibility for UPSC IAS Exam 2021.
Educational Eligibility: Candidates in the last year or having a bachelor’s degree are eligible for the examination.
Age for the IAS Exam 2021: Minimum age for the examination is 21, and the maximum is 32 for the general category. There is age relaxation for OBC, SC, and ST candidates. You can also check your age, check your age for UPSC IAS Exam 2021.
This usually needs a year-long dedicated preparation to qualify for the examination. If you’re thinking of applying for the examination only after this notification, this will be a waste of your attempt. If you still want to appear in the UPSC IAS Exam 2021, then you can try.
This exam is known for its 3 stages that are Prelims, Mains, and Interview. But actually, this is 2 stage exam that is Prelims and Mains because the interview is combined with the mains exam.
Candidates who qualified the Prelims will be eligible for the mains written examination. And the candidates who score well in the mains will appear for an interview.
It is a two-stage because, if the candidate scores well in the written, and due to some reason not performing well in the interview, he’ll qualify or maybe top ranker like last year’s topper Pradeep Singh.

UPSC IAS Exam Schedule for 2021
As per the UPSC calendar of 2021, notification for the examination is scheduled to be released on 10th February 2021, and the last date will be 2nd March 2021.
The IAS prelims exam 2021 is scheduled to be held on 27th June 2021. This exam contains two parts, GS and CSAT. General Studies is competitive in nature, and CSAT is qualifying in nature exam.
Candidates who qualify the preliminary exam will be eligible for the mains exam. As per the calendar, the mains exam is scheduled to be held from 17th September 2021.
